Anti-odour
The silver yarn inhibits the growth of odourproducing bacteria. The silver ions also bind with ammonia and denatured proteins,resulting in bacterial odour reduction.
Anti-static
Silver is the most electrically conductive element. The non-conductive materials rubbing together normally create an electrical charge. The pure silver yarn in the product instantly dissipates these and remains static free and helps the end user to remain comfortable.
Anti-fungal
See it SAFE® interferes with the reproductive sequence in fungal spoor, which acts on the fabric structure to break down the textiles and reduce the functionality and performance of the fabric.
Anti-linting
Using fibre filament technology, See it SAFE® significantly reduces the linting of the textile product, limiting particle release and reducing the risk of carriage through airbourne particles.
Thermo-dynamic
Besides eliminating bacteria and odours, silver is thermally the most conductive and reflective element. Conduction, the primary cause of body heat loss in hot temperatures, is accelerated due to the conductivity of the fibre. See it SAFE® will help regulate temperatures. When used in sheeting, for example, it will help to keep the body cool in warm climates and warm in cool climates.

Permanent
See it SAFE® is not a surface treatment. Silver is irreversibly bound to a polymer as a physical part of the fibre. See it SAFE® is permanent and performance does not diminish over time. See it SAFE® has been tested for more than 100 washes with virtually no reduction in anti-microbial performance.
